AN INVESTMENT MUSCLE CAR OF THE FUTURE THAT YOU CAN DRIVE AND ENJOY TODAY!
I could go on and on about all of the special features
of this Trans Am but instead I will let the pictures that follow show you what you need to know. Here is your chance to own
one of the few truly collectible muscle cars from these production years. You can buy it and put it away in storage, or as
I have done, pull it out on a sunny day and enjoy the heck out of it! We have set the price below the others We
have seen on market and expect it to sell!
As Pontiac said
in 2002, “Legends aren’t born, they’re made!”. Well there is no doubt the Trans Am legend is well
established and since Pontiac has been shut down there is no doubt that Values of the rare and collectible models will continue
to soar. I don’t know how many times I have talked to people at car shows or cruise-ins that tell the story about the
car they owned 20 years ago that they should have never sold but finally, here is an opportunity to be that guy or gal and
buy the car you know will be a true, rare, collector car in the years to come. I will not go into all of the facts and figures
on these Collector Edition Trans Ams but only about 2000 were manufactured for the US market and of those, only 549 were Convertibles.
Fast Forward to the 2027 Barrett Jackson Auction and you can envision these cars rolling across the stage bringing crazy money.
I have owned several 1978-1979 Trans Ams including Bandit editions and 10th Anniversary cars and I can tell you that this
2002 Collector Edition gets as many stares and thumbs up as any of them. Of course it out performs any of those cars and has
all of the modern comfort and safety features we have learned to expect in todays cars. But do not be fooled, this car is
fast, fun and handles the road amazingly.
We bought this rare bird from a local highline Auto Auction. The car came
from California. I ran a Carfax when I bought it and verified it was a one owner, no accident history car!
The body on this TA is gorgeous as you can see in the pictures. Over the years a few
rock chips accumulated and they had some paintwork done to keep the car looking as close to new as possible. As you can see
in the pics it is in fantastic condition with no dings or body damage and looks great from every angle. You will notice in
several of the pictures that The car also comes with the original black tonneau covers.
The Custom interior of this limited edition is absolutely gorgeous, finished in the Ebony black with Yelow insets with
Collector Edition logo embroidered in the headrests. The seats looks great and they don't show any wear. The power seats
function well and this is a very comfortable car to ride in. The car is also nicely equipped with driver and pasenger cup
holders for those long drives. The black cloth convertible top is also in basically
new condition and of course has the glass back window with the rear defogger. The Monsoon stereo system sounds fantastic!
You will also notice the original trophy mat in the trunk that Pontiac developed for these Collector Editions.
Performance and handling
are truly amazing and with just over 39,000 miles this car still pulls and shifts like brand new. Thanks to the 325+
hp LS1 5.7L V8 this bird will go 0-60 in under 6 seconds. The functional Ram Air hood lets people know this is pure muscle
and the amazing rumble form the exhaust lets them know you are coming, and of course they will still hear you after you have
them left behind. The exhaust system is the only aftermarket item added to this car. Of course the WS6 performance and handling
package has this Trans Am riding like it is on rails. The special 17x9 cast aluminum wheels help set this ride off and the
tires on the car have about 80% tread left. The Automatic Transmission adds to the fun with a 3:42 rear axle ratio with torsen
limited slip differential. This high horsepower muscle machine is capable of getting 28 mpg on the highway.
